Check the audit log

The audit log records changes made in an event: who made them, what they did, to what, and when. Use it to answer “who changed this?” or to check what happened during the event.

Who can do this: Org admins. Other staff roles don’t see this page.

Where: Event → Ops → Audit

Each row shows When, Who, what they Did and What it was done to, newest first. The page refreshes by itself every 30 seconds.

Who did it is tagged:

  • Staff: someone from your organisation.
  • OnStage: the OnStage team, acting in your event.
  • Participant: a participant (only when you include participant activity, below).

Click a row. The panel on the right lists the fields that changed, with each one’s value before and after. Click Show N unchanged fields to see the rest. If nothing was recorded about the change, it says so.

  • Who: type a name to find a staff member (or a participant, when included) and pick them.
  • Did: one kind of action, or Any action.
  • What: one kind of thing, such as a participant, team, challenge, submission or announcement, or Anything.
  • Include participant activity: off by default, so the log shows staff and OnStage changes. Switch it on to add what participants did.

Click Clear filters to start again.
