Clean up stored files
Every photo, video, document and image an event uses is stored with it. Once the event is over and you have downloaded what you need (see Export your data), Storage clean-up lets you delete those files.
Who can do this: Org admins. Other staff roles don’t see this page.
Where: Event → Ops → Storage clean-up
See what is stored
Section titled “See what is stored”The page header counts the items, for example “1,240 items using storage for this event”. The tabs split them up, each with its count:
- Event photos
- Submissions
- Documents
- Banners & avatars
- Event content
Each item shows its name, the participant it belongs to where there is one, and when it was added. A long tab shows only the first items and says so; Delete all media for this event still reaches the rest.
On the Banners & avatars and Event content tabs, each image also has Replace everywhere, to swap it for a new image in every place the event uses it. See Reuse and replace images.

A progress bar shows “Deleting media… N of N” while it runs. When it finishes, the banner says how many were deleted, and how many failed if any did. Try again for the ones that failed.

- The question lists what goes, for example the event photos, the submission photos and videos, the files in Documents, banners and team avatars, and any teasers, photo frames and participants’ photo IDs. Teasers and photo frames themselves are deleted, not just their images.
