Game types
Every challenge starts from a type you pick under Choose a game type when you click Create on the Challenges page. The type is fixed once the challenge is created. The shared details (points, timing, who sees it, prerequisites, retakes, result screen) work the same for every type and are covered in Create, edit, open and close challenges. These pages cover what each type adds.
Games score themselves: a participant earns a share of the challenge’s Points for how well they did, and never more than the Points. Games and quizzes are created as drafts and can’t go live until their content is saved.
Quizzes
Section titled “Quizzes”- Quiz: timed multiple-choice questions, played alone or hosted live.
- Quiz (Rounds): a multi-round timed quiz.
Submissions and check-ins
Section titled “Submissions and check-ins”- Photo, video, written response and custom: participants submit something, which you can moderate.
- QR Scan: scan a QR code at a physical station to check in.
Puzzles and games on phones
Section titled “Puzzles and games on phones”- Jigsaw Puzzle: reassemble an image from pieces.
- Sliding Puzzle: slide tiles into the right order.
- Hidden Object: spot items inside a scene.
- Memory Challenge: flip cards to match pairs.
- Matching: pair related items together.
- Crossword: solve clues to fill the grid.
- Jumbled Words: unscramble the letters.
- Sudoku: the classic 9x9 number puzzle.
- Word Search: find hidden words in a letter grid.
- Fruit Slice: slice falling targets before time runs out.
- Ring Toss: toss rings onto bottles; colours and back rows score more.
- Spot the Difference: find differences between two images.
- Picture Reveal: guess the image as it is uncovered.
- Solution Builder: arrange steps in the right order.
Results you enter
Section titled “Results you enter”- Lottery: a prize draw with one random winner.
- External game: a game on another platform; you enter the results after.
