Start from a brief (AI setup)
AI Setup gets an event started without building it screen by screen. First pick a use case, which sets the modules. Then paste a brief, such as an email, a programme or a planning document, and AI drafts challenges, a schedule and info for you. You review everything before anything is added.
Who can do this: Org admins. Other staff roles don’t see this page.
Where: Event → Content → AI Setup (also the AI Setup button on Overview)
Start from a use case
Section titled “Start from a use case”The Start from a use case card switches on the modules a kind of event uses and switches the rest off. Current setup shows which use case your switches match, or Custom.
The use cases are:
- Conference / summit: agenda, live polls and Q&A, surveys and a help desk for a room full of delegates.
- Incentive trip: itinerary, concierge, passes and checklists, with challenges and awards along the way.
- Employee engagement: challenges, a leaderboard, badges and pulse polls that run over weeks.
- Sports league / tournament: fixtures and competitions, with a leaderboard on the big screen.
- Activation / gamified stand: quick challenges and a live leaderboard on a TV at the stand.
To apply one:
- Select the use case.
- Check the list of modules it Turns on and Turns off.
- Select Apply.
Only module switches change. Content you’ve already set up stays, and a module switched off is just hidden from participants until you switch it back on. Onboarding (including Registration, Photo ID, Teams and the Event pass), Home tiles and branding stay as they are. Some use cases add a tip, such as turning on Teams in Onboarding for a sports league.
Fine-tune single modules afterwards on the Modules page. See Feature switches.
Draft from a brief
Section titled “Draft from a brief”- In Draft from a brief, paste your text into the box (up to 10,000 characters). The more detail it has, the better the draft.
- Under What to generate, tick what you want:
- Challenges: 3 to 8 engagement activities.
- Schedule: if the brief has timings.
- Info sections: About, venue, FAQs and contact.
- Select Generate event setup. This can take a little while.
Review the draft
Section titled “Review the draft”The draft shows what AI suggests, with a tick box next to each item. Untick anything you don’t want.
- Challenges: each shows its type, points, title and description.
- Schedule: the sessions with their times. Use Date to set which day they go on; it starts as the event’s first day.
- Info sections: About, Venue, FAQs and Contact.
Select ← Edit brief to change the text and generate again, or Apply to event to add the ticked items.
After you apply
Section titled “After you apply”When it’s done, you see Event setup complete with how many items were created. Select Open Challenges or Open Info to review and fine-tune them, or Draft from another brief to start again.
If some items fail to save, the page lists them and keeps everything else. Select Apply to event again to retry just the ones that failed.
