Picture Reveal

Participants guess what a picture shows as it is uncovered, tile by tile. The fewer tiles they need, the more they score.

Who can do this: Org admins.

Where: Event → Content → Challenges → Create → Picture Reveal

Set it up

1. Create the challenge and fill in its details (see Create, edit, open and close challenges). It is saved as a draft until it has content.
2. Under Game content, click Upload Image.
3. Type the Answer: the exact text participants must type to win.
4. Set the Grid Size: Columns and Rows, each 2 to 6. The image shows the tiles.
5. Tick Randomize reveal order if each participant should see the tiles in a different sequence.
6. Add Hints if you like (+ Add Hint). All hints are available as soon as the challenge opens; participants page through them.
7. Click Save content, then Go live.

How it scores

A wrong guess scores nothing. A right guess (capital letters don’t matter) earns the challenge’s points, less a share for every tile revealed: with half the tiles revealed, it earns half. A right guess always earns at least 1 point.
