Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- Create the challenge and fill in its details (see Create, edit, open and close challenges). It is saved as a draft until it has content.
- Under Type options, choose the Points mode and, optionally, a Default time limit, seconds. Click Save changes.
- Under Quiz questions (the editor is headed Quiz Rounds), build the rounds:
- Click a round to open it and give it a Round Title.
- For each question, type the text, add an image if you like (+ Add Image), set a Time limit (seconds) of 1 to 300 or leave it to inherit the challenge default, and fill in the options. Select the radio button next to the correct answer. A question can have 2 to 6 options; blank ones are left out.
- + Add Question adds a question to the round, + Add Round adds a round, and Remove Round deletes one.
- Click Save content.
Every round needs a title, and every question needs text, two different options and one correct answer.
How it scores
Section titled “How it scores”The same three points modes as a quiz, counted across every question in every round:
- Per question (partial credit): the challenge’s points times the share of questions answered correctly.
- All or nothing: full points only when every question is answered and correct, otherwise 0.
- Fastest finger (time-based): faster correct answers earn a larger share of each question’s points.
Unlike a quiz, a quiz with rounds can’t be hosted live and doesn’t pick a subset of questions per participant.
