Award points manually
Use a manual award for anything the app can’t score by itself: a bonus for the best costume, points for helping set up, or a correction. A negative amount deducts points.
Who can do this: Org admins and score keepers. Read-only users can see the ledger but not award.
Where: Event → Engagement → Points (also on Leaderboard, and in a participant’s drawer on Participants)
Award or deduct points
Section titled “Award or deduct points”- On the Points page, click Award points.
- In Participant, pick the person.
- Set Amount. The − and + buttons move it by 10. Click the number to type an exact value. A negative number deducts points. The amount can’t be zero.
- Optionally, add a Reason. It shows in the ledger’s Reason column.
- Click Award points.
The ledger and the leaderboard update straight away. If the person is in a team, the points also count towards the team’s total.
To award to one person you already have open, use Award points in the Points section of their drawer on the Participants page. The form is the same, with the participant already filled in.
Check who awarded what
Section titled “Check who awarded what”The History table on the Points page shows every award. For manual awards, Source says “Manual award” and Awarded by shows who gave it. Filter by Participant to see one person’s points.
To undo a manual award, award the same amount as a negative number, with a reason.
