Championship
Championship turns a pool’s team standings into championship points, a separate season score. You set a points table (what 1st, 2nd, 3rd … are worth) for each pool, and the page previews what each team’s current finish would earn.
Who can do this: Org admins and score keepers can edit the points table. Read-only users can see it.
Where: Event → Engagement → Championship
Championship is part of the Season Progression module.
Pick a pool
Section titled “Pick a pool”Each pool has its own points table. Choose one in Pool:
- Digital: points for playing challenges in the app: completions, QR scans, quiz answers, lottery wins and external games.
- Physical: published on-ground game results, team and individual.
- Bonus: manual awards, speed bonuses, community likes, Power Play uplifts, predictions, team goals, early-bird prizes, checklists, battle prizes and Beat the captain.
Edit the points table
Section titled “Edit the points table”- Choose the Pool.
- For each place (#1, #2 …), enter its Championship points.
- Click Add place to score one more place. Click Remove on a place to drop it; the places below move up.
- Click Save table. To throw away your edits, click Discard changes.
A place past the end of the table is worth nothing, so the length of the table is how many places score.
The table must follow two rules, or it won’t save:
- Every place needs a whole number of points, zero or more.
- No place can be worth more than the place above it.
Preview the standings
Section titled “Preview the standings”Standings preview lists each team’s Rank, its points in the chosen pool, and the Championship points that finish is worth on the saved table. It uses the saved table, so save your changes to see them there.
If the event has no teams yet, there’s nothing to preview.
