Trip details
Travel & scoring is a section of the Info page for four small extras in the participant app: a currency converter, a league phase stepper, a scoring note and a dress-code legend. They’re useful for trips and for league-style events, and any event can use them.
Who can do this: Org admins. Read-only users can see the settings but not change them.
Where: Event → Content → Info → Travel & scoring
Each extra stays hidden until its part is filled in, and while the module it sits in is off:
| Extra | Where participants see it | Needs this module on |
|---|---|---|
| Currency converter | On the Concierge | Concierge |
| League phase stepper | With the Leaderboard | Leaderboard |
| Scoring note | Beside the standings, with the Leaderboard | Leaderboard |
| Dress-code legend | On the Schedule | Schedule |
If a module is off, the page notes it next to the part it affects.
Currencies
Section titled “Currencies”The home currency your guests think in, and up to 8 currencies the converter offers.
- Enter the Home currency as a three-letter code, for example
INR. Conversions are shown into it. - Select Add currency for each currency the converter should offer. Enter its code (for example
SGD) and, optionally, its name (for example “Singapore dollar”).
League phases
Section titled “League phases”Up to 6 phase names for the league stepper, in order, for example “Group stage”.
- Select Add phase and type the phase’s name.
- Optionally set the date it Starts on. Without start dates the app spreads the phases across the event’s dates.
Scoring
Section titled “Scoring”How the league’s points split, shown beside the standings.
- Participation share (%): the share of points that comes from taking part, from 0 to 100. The rest comes from competing. Leave it empty to hide it.
- Scoring note: a line explaining it in your own words, for example “60% of your points come from joining in, 40% from winning.”
Dress-code legend
Section titled “Dress-code legend”Up to 12 dress codes and what each means. Name them the same way as the dress codes on your schedule’s sessions, so guests can match them up.
- Select Add dress code.
- Type its name (for example “Smart casual”) and, optionally, a description of what to wear.
Select Save trip details. If something needs fixing, the page says “Some trip details need fixing — see the highlighted fields.”
To set a session’s dress code, edit the session on Info → Schedule. See Info, venue, contacts, FAQs and schedule.
